Bloomsburg University
Bloomsburg University offers 56 undergraduate programs and 19 graduate programs. It offers a student-to-teacher ratio of 20-1 with lectures averaging 31 students. The University's 282-acre campus is located right in the heart of Bloomsburg's downtown.
Bucknell University Bucknell University was founded in 1846 and is a highly selective, private co-educational, residential university offering world-class undergraduate, and graduate programs in a safe and rural setting. Bucknell offers 53 majors and 64 minors, including one of the best engineering programs in the country. The university enrolls 3,350 undergraduates and 150 graduate students. www.bucknell.edu
Susquehanna University Susquehanna University, founded in 1858, is a competitive liberal arts university consisting of three colleges: The School of Arts, Humanities, and Communications; The School of Natural and Social Sciences; and the Sigmund Weis School of Business. Technical & Adult Education A strong investment in workforce development has long been a hallmark of the Greater Susquehanna Valley. Five area business and technical schools provide exceptional training in a wide variety of fields. These include business administration, computer networking, surgical technology, tool making, electronics technology, diesel technology, and even the culinary arts.
McCann School of Business & Technology McCann School of Business & Technology has been serving the region for over 100 years, making it the oldest private career school in Northeastern Pennsylvania. McCann offers programs in a variety of business related fields, including computer networking and programming, business administration, and accounting. Pennsylvania College of Technology An affiliate of The Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania College of Technology is one of the state’s premier technical colleges, offering both bachelors and associates degree programs in over 100 career fields. SUN Area Technical Institute Located in New Berlin, Pennsylvania, SUN Area Technical Institute provides area high school students with skills needed to compete in today’s job market and receive consideration for advanced college placement. SUN Tech offers programs in drafting, wood products manufacturing, precision machining, and information technology. Programs for adult students are also available.
