ATHENA® Program
In 1981, a vision for celebrating, articulating, and influencing leadership was formulated in Lansing, Michigan. The concept focused on establishing an award to recognize outstanding women leaders who achieved professional excellence, gave back to their community, and created leadership opportunities for other women. Local communities across the United States and beyond our borders embraced the ATHENA® Award, named in recognition of the Greek goddess of wisdom and courage. Today, the ATHENA® Foundation is an established international organization that has recognized thousands of women and men for helping women reach their full leadership potential.

Currently, there are three Breakfast Clubs -- one in Lewisburg, one in Northumberland and one in Selinsgrove.
