The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce effectively collaborates with and supports allied community and regional organizations that join in a shared mission of the advancement of economic development in the region.
We build partnerships by building cooperation, and that includes cooperation not only with organizations with additional resources, but also with other groups with resource needs for collaboration, linages and co-branding.
Being the Greater Susquehanna Valley’s key business champion, your Chamber is clear, constant and consistent voice and advocate for the regions businesses. It is the institutional engine for continuing intentional dialogue that sustains and grows robust commerce and communities.
Advocacy
The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce acts as a regional voice for advocacy. It represents business interests and viewpoints on current issues facing the Valley. The Chamber is dedicated to keeping its members informed of governmental issues on the local, state and federal levels by holding Joint Legislative Forums throughout the year as well as through committees and other advocacy events.
Bucknell Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
The Bucknell University Small Business Development Center provides no cost confidential consulting to entrepreneurs and small businesses in Juniata, Perry, Snyder, Union, Northumberland, and Montour counties. Bucknell's SBDC is the host of the statewide PASBDC network's specialty Engineering Development Services.
Focus Central PA
Focus Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), regional economic development marketing alliance committed to promoting new corporate investment in Central Pennsylvania resulting in the growth and creation of family sustaining jobs. Focus Central Pennsylvania supports a constituency of partners fully committed to regional cooperation.
Leadership Susquehanna Valley (LSV)
One of the founding members of this organization is the former Central Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce. The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce facilitates this group and is a strong supporter of its programs. The mission of Leadership Susquehanna Valley is to provide education and programming to build and strengthen the skill sets for emerging and established leaders in the Susquehanna Valley Region.

The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce’s alliance with Penn State World Campus gives you the opportunity to enjoy special education benefits. Penn State World Campus offers a 5% tuition reduction to currently employed full-time and part-time employees of the GSV Chamber member companies.
SEDA-Council of Governments (COG)
SEDA-COG is a public development organization serving 11 Central Pennsylvania counties. SEDA-COG is overseen by a Board of elected officials, business people, and area residents; and staffed by professionals with expertise in such fields as transportation, international sales, information technology, and financial packaging. They work with the region’s counties, communities, companies, and individuals. They help them – and you - make things happen.
